We had another long day today! We started out by going to lunch with Papa and Grandma Gray. Then we went over to their house and the boys played. Treyton LOVED princess!! Grandma took Owen and Logan to their neighbors house to play on the swing set. Treyton went down for a nap and Jerrod and Jerry put up a horse tire swing. Logan and Owen took turns playing on it. They had a lot of fun. Logan almost fell once, so after that he didn't really want to get back on! After swinging they got the bicycles down and rode around. There is a little difference in the driveway and garage, and as Owen was riding in to put his bike up it fell. His cheek ended up hitting the handle bar we think and he got bruised. Poor guy. They went inside and got a snack and cooled off - it was HOT! After Papa and Grandma Gray's we went over to Papa Bob's house. The boys LOVE playing with Papa's tractors! Even Treyton! They just played and played! Jerrod and I both ended up falling asleep over there! I think they had a lot of fun playing. At one point Owen went over to Papa Bob, gave him a hug, looked up and said "I love you." It was the sweetest thing!

After we left Papa Bob's we went over to Grandma Purdy and Papa Darrell's house. Uncle Gordon came out as soon as we arrived and Owen shouted "Uncle Gordon - I love you!" He was being very loving today! The boys immediately got in the pool. We had to drag them out to get them to eat dinner! After dinner they got back into the pool! Logan is loving to swim with just the life jacket. We tried to put some little arm floaties on Owen, but they were too big. So we took Logan's life jacket off and put it on Owen and gave Logan the floaties. Logan did well with these too. I am glad that he will finally be able to take "real" swimming lessons next summer. His cousin Jackson can swim like a fish and was even doing flips into the pool! He's only 9 months older than Logan! Owen was still having trouble with the life jacket. He was still going forward and into the water. Grandma Purdy had another pair of floaties. So we put those on him in addition to the life jacket. He was pretty funny. At first he kept falling backwards and was just floating on his back! He reminded me of a turtle on his back - he could not get up. He finally started to get used to it and could actually stay somewhat upright. Treyton also got into the pool. He hasn't always been the biggest fan of pools and the cooler water, but he LOVED it. He was splashing up a storm!

After we left Grandma Purdy's we went to visit Grandma Rose. The boys were quite tired and cranky by this point so they weren't being very well behaved! It was still a nice visit though and I know Grandma Rose was happy to see the boys. She has this one stuffed dog that shakes it's ears - Treyton was getting quite the kick out of it. The boys crashed on the way home. They were exhausted. We all were! We didn't end up getting home until after 10:30. We brought the boys in, got them ready and put them to bed! Then we did the same!
