Trick-or-Treat!

We had a very busy and fun day today! We started out by taking the boys in their costumes to visit the bank. Everyone thought they looked soo cute!

We never ended up getting our pumpkins earlier in the month so we did that today too! Good news is the pumpkins were pretty cheap! Each boy got their own little pumpkin. Then as we were getting ready to go Owen found another pumpkin he wanted. A little white striped one. The lady gave it to him. It was very sweet!

After we got home we decorated the pumpkins. I don't know that Treyton realized you were supposed to paint the pumpkin and not yourself, but he had fun anyways! They were really into decorating their pumpkins this year!

After our pumpkins were done, the kids got in their costumes again and we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. It is soo nice to be in a great neighborhood where you know soo many people! Before we moved here I just didn't feel safe enough to take them in any neighborhood. They got more candy and had a lot of fun! We have to tell Treyton you have to unwrap the candy before you eat it though!

After we went trick-or-treating in the neightborhood we went to our church which was having a trunk-or-treat. A bunch of church members had their car trunks open and had candy inside. The kids went from car to car trick-or-treating. After all the trick-or-treating they went inside and watched a movie. We had a popcorn machine there and the kids really liked the popcorn. Treyton liked it too! The kids were a little too hyper from the candy to sit and watch the movie, but they had fun anyways!

Soccer Pic and Party

Tonight Logan had his soccer party. His team just met at Burger King and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the big play area there. I also got Logan's soccer pictures! I think they turned out really well! Coach John was also the photographer and he did a wonderful job!

Bass Pro Halloween

This afternoon we took the boys to Bass Pro for their Halloween stuff. They got a lot of comments on how cute they were - especially when we let the monkey (Treyton) loose! My parents met us up there and we had fun going around the store. They had wooden vehicles for them to paint - we just used marker! I wasn't going to risk ruining the costumes before Halloween! Then there were different stations throughout the store that had candy! The kids love going to bass pro. They love looking at the fish and ducks and waterfalls, so it was a fun time for them!

5-Year Check-Up

Logan had his 5-year check-up today. He and I went together. He was such a big boy! He was a little shy, but he usually is when he's not surrounded by his brothers or other kids! He was very healthy. He now weighs 40 pounds and is 42 1/2 inches tall! He also got his hearing and vision tested. Both were great. The bad part - shots Originally they were going to have to give him 5! Luckily they had one that 2 were combined in one and they had 1 flu-mist vaccine left, so that brought the total down to 3. He was very brave. The nurse had him blow the tissue in the tissue box while she gave him the shot. He didn't cry at all on the first 2 and on the third one he just whimpered a little. After the doctor I took Logan out to lunch and we had fun just the 2 of us!

Halloween Party!

Logan's preschool class had their fall party today. He had a lot of fun! We had 4 different activities going and the kids rotated through in groups. We had a musical pumpkin game (aka musical chairs w/o the chairs!), where each kid one a cup full of goodies! The kids got to make spiderweb cookies too! They made one for snack time and they got to take one home. They also had a lot of fun making masks! Then each kid decorated their own water bottle pumpkin! They got goodies. Logan was very generous. When he got home he shared his candy with Owen. He is usually very good about sharing and a very sweet big brother!

Field Trip!

Today Logan had his very first field trip! Well actually they did go once this year to the recycling plant but they walked there! This was also his first time to ride a school bus! He was sooo excited! They got to go to this farm-park that also had a corn maze! Logan has been looking forward to this field trip since they first announced it. He was the most excited about riding the school bus! One thing I liked about the buses for the preschool is they have car-seats in them! Logan was soo excited and I had to get some bus shots!

The first thing we did was head to the corn maze! We went to the kids one, yet somehow crossed over into the main adult one! We were in there for quite some time, but the kids had a lot of fun! They found some scarecrows and Logan loved looking at the corn!

After the corn maze Logan and his friends went and looked at some animals, then went and played on some of the play areas. Logan had a lot of fun in the hay and he loved jumping from it!

We ended the trip on the playground! Logan also went down a pole for the first time. He really enjoyed that!

At the end fo the field trip, the kids had the option of just leaving with their parents or riding the bus back to the school. I asked Logan what he would like to do. I'm sure you can guess his choice!
