Busy Day!

Today was quite a busy day! Jerrod's mom came up so that I could go to Logan's school and help his class build a scarecrow for Pumpkin Daze. We made a recycling scarecrow. He was made of recycled/reused products and he held a sign about recycling that the entire class signed. He also had 3 boxes for people to place their recyclables. After Logan and I came home from school, Logan played outside with Grandma Purdy and I mowed the yard! Yes I mowed the entire yeard by myself - it was like the third time ever, but I did it! I tried to figure out the weed-eater, but ended up messing up some of the grass and flinging a piece of grass directly into my eye. It did not feel good!

My parents suprised us with a visit that afternoon too. They came up to watch Logan's soccer game. Logan had a good soccer game - but he is too funny. When he is running he always looks to the stands - especially when he has extra visitors! He kept looking over and smiling at us! He did pretty good though. I didn't notice until I was looking at the pictures - he has his tongue out a LOT!

After the game, Bocca and Papa left and we went over to a fall festival at the football field. The boys jumped in the jumper, got their faces painted and painted a pumpkin. They had a good time.
