Thomas The Train!

The boys started out a little disappointed today. First they went down to the pool and it wasn't open yet. So they came back to the room. Then they went down again and there was a guy in there checking the chemicals and said it wouldn't be open til around noon - which of course was after we would be gone! So no swimming for the little guys, but they weren't too terribly bothered. We had a full day. We checked out of our hotel and went to a restaurant Beach Bums. It is a fun pizza place with a huge movie screen in the restaurant playing cartoons while the kids ate. And of course there is a game room with tokens!

After lunch we drove to the Day out with Thomas! There was a lot of stuff going on! First they played in the Imagination Station, where there were a lot of train tables, toys and coloring tables set up. Then it was time to board our train! The Conductor talked to us and we got on board. The boys loved looking out the window.

We also got to see clowns! 2 of them sat down with us. Owen had the most fun with this clown!

Treyton and Daddy were indifferent!

And near the end of the ride the boys got a certificate!

After the train ride the boys got their pictures taken by Thomas. This was the best shot of the two of them we got! The first photo involved Owen hitting Logan. (Owen was getting a tad cranky at this point!

After the train ride the boys got to meet Sir Topham Hatt.

Then they got some Thomas tatoos, saw part of a Thomas movie, got inside a real firetruck and got some snow cones. Logan went through a little hay maze too! And of course a vacation trip isn't complete without a trip to the gift shop!! We bought Logan and Owen t-shirts and a lantern. We also bought this cute train fork and spoon set, which will be for Treyton if the boys will let him have them!!

Owen was exhausted by the end - well we all were - but he was by far the crabbiest! He crashed soo quickly!!

Logan followed a couple hours later!
