Submarine

You may be wondering about the title! Well, today Logan wanted this bear down. He was telling me it was his police bear.

Me: Logan that's not a police bear.
Logan: Yes it is - it has the police on it's hat.
Me: Well it's not a police bear - it's a Marine.
Logan: Hey Owen! This is a submarine bear!

Kids are too funny. In case anyone is wondering why we have the Marine costume - we didn't buy it for the bear - we bought it for Treyton! Yes this was Treyton's first Halloween costume! It did come from Build-a-Bear though! The Build-a-Bear costume idea actually started with Logan. He was only 2 weeks old for his first halloween, yet all the baby Halloween costumes were huge! So we came up with the idea to go to Build-a-Bear. Logan was a boxer for his first Halloween! Owen was born after Halloween so he wasn't an issue, but Treyton was only going to be 5 or 6 weeks old, so we headed back to Build-a-Bear. We thought Uncle Gordon woul dreally appreciate this costume - and I think Treyton's face is priceless.

Now about us - Jerrod was still sick today and actually feeling even worse. He went to the doctor - so you KNOW he was feeling awful! He had an ear infection. The doctor also told him all that drainage from his ear was why his throat was so sore. He got 2 pills for that and then some antibiotics. I was not 100% either and couldn't sleep last night. My throat was sore when I got up so I wanted to get into a doctor before I got as bad as the rest of these guys. I went this afternoon and have a sinus infection. I also got some antibiotics. We are so fortunate to have such great neighbors because when I got back from the doctor they let Logan and Owen come over and play and play and play and eat and play some more ! They are actually still over there! It was so nice to be able to let them go out so we could rest! We are very grateful. Jerrod's medicine kicked in right away and really helped with his ear and sinuses. I'm feeling okay now and hope that I caught everything early so I don't have to deal with it! I'll be glad when our whole family is healthy again!

I took my camera in the kitchen to play with some metering and lighting and that's when I took the bear picture. I also tried to get some of Treyton, who of course would NOT sit still!! I did get this one picture and it is totally out of focus, but I still liked it - so here you go!
