Bath Boy!

It has been a busy week!! Again I didn't get to take many pictures today and I feel like I'm sooo busy, but I managed to catch one cute bath pic tonight! Treyton is getting his top 2 teeth in. His top left one is almost half way in now - and the right one is following!

Trick or Treat?

No these are not old Halloween pictures. They were actually taken today! It all started Monday, when Logan was in my closet with me and spotted his Halloween costume. He actually asked me if he could wear it that night to church. I asked him why and he said so Mason would think he was funny. Well needless to say we didn't wear the dragon costume to church, but he didn't forget about it! So today he put it on and had a lot of fun "scaring" Mom and Dad! Once he got the dragon costume on, Owen wanted a costume too, so he got his Lion costume out! They had a lot of fun today! I don't know that Treyton knew what to think of his crazy brothers! Oh and we are not sure what happened to Treyton's eye, but fortunately it doesn't seem to bother him!

What a difference a crop makes!

I have been fortunate enough lately to have a very talented photographer mentoring me as I try to take all this in!! Jennifer has been so incredible with her information, tips and advice. Tonight I showed her the below picture and she made a couple suggestions, including to crop it differently. Now I should have known this as I just finished a book that told me not to center stuff like a billion times, but alas I forgot! So with the advice I made some changes and am very pleased with the result! It's amazing how a few little changes can really change the whole look and feel of a picture! Thanks Jen! :)

Goodnight, Sweetheart

Well, can you believe I didn't take any pictures today?! I was getting ready to post and realized this. So I went in and started snapping some sleeping kiddos! Earlier today I was feeling bad again and my throat and head were hurting so I was in bed most of the day. Then this evening we had revival services at our church. Those went very well and we had a few seeking at the altar as well. I'll leave you with sweet little Treyton.

My models...

My allergies are feeling much better today! We missed morning church, but were able to go this evening. This afternoon I just was playing around with the camera. Logan is my new model! I can get him to sit and pose for me - for a little while at least! He's not totally sure on all his "poses" yet. I asked him to give me a serious face - he wasn't sure what that was and asked if this was a serious face:

I can only shoot Treyton when he is in his high chair - otherwise he's crawling off! Tonight Logan was feeding Treyton applesauce. It was really cute - and needless to say it got all over! Treyton loved it though!! You can also see his sweet potatoes from dinner!

And Owen - well Owen is 2 so I never know when he will cooperate!! Here's what I got today!

Camp - Day 2!

It is the final day of camp. How many pictures did I take today? 405!!! So needless to say it was hard to narrow it down to get a few to post. (Okay several to post!) If at all possible it was hotter today. Granted it was during the day and we were outside for most of it - so that is probably a big part of it! Today we started out with Bible studies. The kids had fun marching around the walls of Jericho! Then they made mugs. After that they headed outside to make stepping stones. They had a fun time with that. Treyton made one too!

After Bible study, the kids wrote letters, drew pictures to send to our troops over seas. Then it was lunch time! We took sank lunches down to the creek and ate. The kids had fun wading in the water. Afterwards there were activities. In the first one there were 2 teams (boys vs. girls of course!) who had to fill a cup with water and run to a bucket and pour the water into it. The bucket with the most water won. Of course there was a catch - the cup was full of holes! Logan didn't do very well the first time, he didn't quite get it. The second time it was his turn he made it to the bucket and got a little bit of water in it! He was so happy and put his hands up in victory! He was very excited and his team was cheering him on - it was so cute! The second game was an egg toss - Logan managed to throw and break an egg before the game even started - go figure! Luckiy the eggs were hard boiled!

After activities the best part of camp - swimming! At least if you were in the water - those of us who didn't get in were melting in the heat! Owen had a blast in the pool! That kid was up to his neck in water and it didn't faze him one bit! He was going every where. He would get piggy back rides to the deep end, and had fun flirting with the life guard too! She let him ride on her floatation thing too. Logan had fun playing with Mason and "jumping" into the pool. Yes I intentionally put quotes around that because I don't know that you could actually call what he was doing jumping! But he sure enjoyed it. Treyton even got in the water and splashed around too. He normally doesn't like cold water - but with this heat he really enjoyed it! Although I think he enjoyed the popsicle more! I put that picture on the top of the post because it is one of my favorites from today! I love how blue his eyes look!

Camp was a lot of fun this year and none of the kids wanted to leave! They were very very tired though! All three of them crashed before we got on the highway to go home! I took a nap when we got home too. Slept most of the evening. Every year at camp though my allergies get really bad and I get sick - I'm sitting here amongst all my tissues and taking some medicine! Getting ready to go back to bed! Hope you enjoyed all the pictures!

Camp Canaan

Tonight we had the first day of Camp Canaan - and no I'm not camping! It was a great evening with good food and wonderful singing. Our children's choir sang and the ladies from Calvary came and sang as well. Logan didnt' really sing much until this one song that he did know and he belted out what he knew - it was amusing! After services, we went down to the camp fire where Owen really got into the s'mores. Oh and I mean that literally! Owen got a haircut this afternoon - as did Logan, but Owen's got cut soooo short!!! I really don't like it! I miss all his hair! I wanted it trimmed up but thsi is soo short!! Logan and Jerrod stayed at the camp, but I brought Treyton and Owen home to sleep here. Neither one napped today either. I brought Owen in first and told him to wait in the hall for me while I got Treyton. Well when I got back with Treyton I found this.....
Poor guy was exhausted from his busy day!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Tonight we went to a ballgame. It was HOT HOT HOT!!!! Once the sun set, it got better though. The kids had a great time - and enjoyed the peanuts the most! Owen was sort of funny at the game. One of Jerrod's co-workers asked Owen what color his band-aid was. He replied "blue." She replied "That's exactly right! You are so smart!" Owen responded "I not smart - my daddy's smart!" Also the poor kid kept losing his shorts!! The shirt Owen got to wear was HUGE! Well I put some 3T shorts on him, because he wears a lot of 3T clothes now. That kid has his shorts around his ankles - multiple times - including in the above picture with Louie the mascot!

Wordle

Just had a little fun making a wordle today! Check it out at www.wordle.net!

Blowing Bubbles!

Today our neighbors were moving. We volunteered to let Taylor come over to play so they could get more stuff done. Logan and Owen were sooo excited to have Taylor come over! They had a lot of fun. They played and played and played some more! They played inside, outside and back again! They played with play dough outside for a very long time! They had a blast when we brought out the Veggie Tales play dough barber shop! After a while, after Treyton and Owen went down for naps, the boys went outside and played with bubbles. I had fun trying to take bubble pics! Hope you enjoy! (oh and if you didn't know and were worried, don't be - Taylor is just moving one street over!)

I unintentionally caught Owen sneezing - thought it was quite amusing!

Outdoor Fun

This afternoon was spent doing more cleaning. Later on I took the boys outside. Logan and Owen had a lot of fun riding in the Hummer. Our neighbor Blake got some new roller blades, so Logan decided he wanted to get his out too! He was having some trouble, but still had some fun!
Lately around the neighborhood there have been a ton of these little tree frogs! Logan loves them! So he has been picking them up, then letting them go.

Treyton hung out in his wagon and watched all the crazy boys! He is doing very well - he even has his top middle left tooth coming in!! It has broke through his gums!

Back to Normal

Well as normal as we can get! Today was mainly spent trying to unpack and clean - and I'm far from done. I did play around with my camera and Logan modeled for me! This kid always gets comments on his gorgeous eyes, and I wanted to get some pictures of them, so I had him stand in front of a window to get that natural light shining in on them. I was also able to get some cute shots of Treyton playing with his pajama shirt!

P.S. Happy Anniversary Jerrod!!! It's been a fantastic 7 years!! I love you!

Home Again!

Well we made it back safe and sound! We woke up got around and ended up leaving around noon. This trip didn't go without stops! We only had to stop twice - and once was actually for me! We ended up getting home around 4:15 and had time to let my mom out and head right to church for children's choir! We got home about 7:30 to 8:00 and when we pulled into the driveway the boys saw Taylor outside! So of course we had to go over and play! The boys missed Taylor while we were gone and I hear it was mutual! We didn't end up in the house until around 10:00! So we had a long day, but it was a fun trip and we are glad to be home. Of course the kids took their bath, so I had to take some bath pictures! Here's Treyton with his tongue out as always!

Wedding Day and Grant's Farm

Today was Krissy's wedding - I had my camera with me, but can you believe I didn't take any pictures!!! I can't believe it. We started out by driving to Krissy's parents house this morning. From there my mom took the boys to my aunt Kathy's house and they all went with my cousin, her boys and aunt Linda to Grant's farm. They saw a lot of animals, fed them, watched a bird show, and even pet a lizzard. I sent my camera with my mom and she and my aunt Linda took pictures for me! Thank you so much!!!

As for me, I was busy with the wedding all day. I was nervous at first because Krissy was the only person I knew!! I got to know and meet several wonderful people though and really had a great time!! Krissy was an absolutely gorgeous bride! The reception was incredible. It was by far the fanciest thing I have been to! Before we went into the ballroom, everyone was outside of it mingling and snacking and my mom and the boys came back to the hotel. I spotted them and went to say hi. I hugged them and picked up Treyton. He was soo happy. Then I passed him off to my mom, because I needed to get back. He was crushed! He just started crying like I broke his little heart. This broke my heart! I felt so bad!! (She told me he only cried for a minute - but I still felt so sad!) I called up to the room to check on them a few times! The reception was a lot of fun and the food was great!! I am so honored that Krissy invited me to share in her special day and I wish her and Ross a lifetime of happiness! I got up to the room fairly late and the kiddos were all fast alseep!!
