Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July! We had a really great day. Several of us in the neighborhood grilled together and then we had a lot of fun and fireworks! Our neighbor Matt went all out on the fireworks and the men put on quite a show for us. I'm still not 100% sure whether or not the guys or the kids had more fun! It may be a toss-up! My top 2 pictures here are a collage of a lot of pictures put together and the other 3 photos are just individual shots. I have had a lot of fun taking fireworks pictures this year! I think the kids really enjoyed watching them. Of course Owen lately has been indifferent to a lot that goes along around him and instead of watching the fireworks, he took advantage of the other kids being distracted to ride all the bikes and toy cars that were around!! This was Treyton's first 4th of July and I think he had a great time. He played with some of his baby friends, snacked and watched the fireworks! Here's a shot of him in his wagon:

After we did fireworks I took some sparkler pictures and had Jerrod do some "drawing" for me! Here is him spelling out "Gray."

After fireworks we threw the boys in the tub!

And after the bath we had to treat our one 4th of July injury. :( Poor Owen burnt his finger earlier in the evening. Remember to always be super careful with fireworks! He had burnt his finger, but it was immediately okay with some ice and a kiss. After bathtime though I was looking at it and sure enough there was a small blister on there. Poor guy. Luckily the Dora the Explorer band-aid made it all better!
