I volunteered to make a cake for a baby shower at Jerrod's work. I decided to make 2 mini bootie cakes, and one large baby carriage cake. The booties took a while, but I think they came out cute. It was a double shower with one boy and one girl, so I made a set of booties for each. Then I went on to the baby carriage. I had worked pretty hard on it and was even doing a basket weave on the carriage. I was getting ready to put the finishing touches on it (at 4 am) and it started falling apart on me! I tried to put it back together, but it just didn't happen. It kept getting worse and worse. I was quite upset! Jerrod tried to comfort me for a while. After I realized there wasn't anything else to be done I went to bed. Jerrod took the bootie cakes for me and then also picked up a cake from Wal-Mart.
