Big 12 :(

Today was a very special day for Logan. He and his daddy got to go to Kansas City to watch Mizzou play in the Big 12 Championship. I took this picture before they left. They are staying the night up there. This is Logan's first time going away overnight with his daddy. Sadly the game didn't go quite as they had hoped, but I think it was still a lot of fun. Jerrod told me they were surrounded by Oklahoma fans even though they were on the Missouri side. Evidentally the OK fans vastly outnumbered the MO ones! He said they were very nice though. They kept talking to Logan and when he was getting very cold they were giving him handwarmers to help keep him warm! I thought that was soo sweet. Jerrod told me the windchill was 12! Logan was wearing 2 shirts, jeans, a snow bib, a heavy coat, a hat and his hood over that, gloves and 2 pairs of socks and he had a blanket over him - but it was still very cold. Logan loved watching the band during the halftime show. Since it was sooo cold and well let's face it - Mizzou was getting creamed, they left early. Jerrod realized when they got on the highway that his drivers side mirror was gone! Evidentally someone knocked it off in the parking lot of the game and did nothing about it. That is upsetting that people can be that way. Since they left the game early, Jerrod drove Logan to the Plaza to see the Christmas lights. He said it was the best thing he ever saw! Owen and Treyton and I just hung around the house! Bocca and Papa came up to visit for a while and later we watched the game on tv. As I mentioned in my previous post I am going to try really hard to get caught back up!!
