15 Month Check-Up

Treyton had his 15-month check-up today. Jerrod took him while I stayed with the other boys. Jerrod said he did really good. He weights 24 pounds (just under 50th percentile), 32 inches (75th percentile - boy had a growth spurt!) and 18 3/4 inches for his head (around the 60th percentile). Poor boy had to have 4 shots thought. Jerrod said he didn't cry until the last one. The first 2 he didn't even seem to notice. There was another nurse in there watching the nurse and tryin gto learn how to give shots - and the main nurse turned to her and told her that isn't normal - so not to expect that! She said normally they'd be screaming at the first one. Jerrod said the 3rd one bothered him but he still didn't cry. The fourth one - well that one wasn't pleasant. She told Jerrod that one also burned going in as well - and Jerrod said he didn't like that one at all - and made it clear! He calmed down after he got dressed and got some stickers though. And Daddy gave him his monkey in the car and he was a happy camper again! He took a long nap after he got home though and had some crazy bed head when he woke up!

Owen wasn't feeling well today either. Last night he came in really upset at about 3 am and he felt really warm so I took his temperature. He had 102.5 fever. I got him some medicine, ice water, and a be cool strip for his forehead and sent him back to bed. Today his fever was down some, but he still wasn't feeling well. He wanted me to lay with him a lot today. He went to sleep and took a very long nap too. You could tell he didnt' feel well at all, poor guy. He had a fever tonight as well. We made him some chicken noodle soup and gave him some orange juice. He also ate some yogurt.

I got out a different lens tonight and was playing with it, so I used Logan as a model!

Tonight we had a movie night and watched Horton Hears a Who. It is a really cute movie. Treyton didn't stay up for all of it - he was in a very bad mood. I think he was still irritated by his shots.
